Regis University has five colleges, three doctoral programs with 184 unique degree programs to choose from. The Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions is made up of three schools with two divisions. The schools are Nursing, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy with Health Services Education and Counseling and Family Therapy serving as divisions. Prospective students can either earn a degree at a bachelor’s or master’s level or participate in certificate level credits. The versatile programs offered through Rueckert-Hartman College not only provides students with the expertise to qualify as health professionals but also hones leadership skills for tailored, competent experts in their field. RHCHP (Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions) offers flexible programs both in-person and online. Undergraduate psychology-related studies are members of Regis College.

Undergraduate students can minor in psychology or neuroscience in addition to their course curriculum. To participate in the psychology department, all students must complete the Core Studies requirements provided by Regis University. This includes the core foundation, distributive core, and integrative core courses. Within each category, students must complete a satisfactory amount of credit hours. A few examples of classes that an undergraduate with a BS in Psychology may enroll in include Introduction to Brain and Behavior, Research Methods and Behavioral Statistics, Sensation and Perception, Social Psychology and Psychology of Personality. Regis College makes it easy for students to transition from undergraduate studies into their master’s program should they choose to advance their educational experience within the RHCHP.

Participating in the Honors college requires the same core requirements, but for neuroscience hopefuls, courses such as Senior Thesis and Research in Neuroscience are mandatory for meeting honors-level credentials. A curriculum in neuroscience must be approved by the head chair in the Neuroscience Program. In order to be considered, candidates must select a thesis advisor and complete a thesis proposal under their guidance and submit a research project that will be presented in front of a panel of faculty and a public forum. Finally, the thesis will be examined and approved by a committee for accuracy and efficiency.

Regis University received its accreditation from The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) which is a regional institutional accreditor. RU also has a handful of specialized accreditations in specific colleges and education sectors from the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management (CAHIIM), and for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).

Incoming first-year students must complete the Regis Freshman Application either through the Regis University website or through the Common App. Required documents for application consideration are standard.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Full-time, traditional, daytime and on-campus undergraduate students pay flat-rate tuition of $37,830 for both fall and spring semesters. For part-time undergraduate students, tuition is $1,261 per credit hour. If students are participating in additional summer semester courses it will cost $490 per credit hour. The average financial reward students have received is $32,343.
