The Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling provides students with a practitioner model that meets the educational requirements for students to become licensed counselors. The program focuses on professional and personal development and students gain counseling skills through skills labs, an individual practicum, a group practicum, and an off-campus internship. The program requires the completion of 60 credit hours. The courses include Foundations of Professional Counseling, Counseling Theory, Social and Cultural Foundations, Professional and Ethical Issues, Counseling Skills, Maladaptive Behavior and Psychopathology, Human Development and Learning, Substance Abuse Counseling, Couples and Family Counseling, Group Counseling, and Career Development and Counseling.

The minor in psychology provides students with a general overview of psychology to enhance a related degree program. Students must complete at least 17 credits for the minor. The courses include Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Child and Adolescent Psychology.

The minor in clinical and counseling psychology prepares students to examine and address the psychological needs of a variety of individuals, groups, and communities. The minor provides rigorous training in clinical science and interventions. A minimum of 23 credits are needed for the minor. The minor in sport psychology focuses on current theoretical and applied research methods in sport psychology. Students must complete at least 20 credit hours for the minor. The courses include Health and Wellness, Introduction to Psychology, Sport and Health Psychology, and Applied Sport Psychology.

The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology focuses on the development of theories and practices to understand, assess, and modify behavior. Students learn the necessary skills to conduct scientific investigations of psychological topics. A total of 120 credit hours are needed to complete the program. The courses include Introduction to Psychology, Psychology Cornerstone, Psychological Statistics, Abnormal Psychology, Research Methods, Senior Thesis, and Senior Survey in Psychology.
