For students in the Master of Arts in Counseling program, enrollment is available in the fall only, and students must earn 90 credits to satisfy degree requirements. Applicants who want to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision will need to satisfy 72 total credits in classes like Models of Clinical Supervision, Advanced Career and Consultation, and Counselor Supervision and Ethics. Like the master’s degree, students in the Ph.D. program will start their classes in the fall. The program is designed to take three years to complete.

City University of Seattle Application Requirements
Admission to the City University of Seattle is available for students who want to study online or on campus. The first step in applying is meeting with an advisor to determine the student’s educational goals and how enrollment in one of the university’s programs would serve that goal. Once a student has determined which program he or she wishes to apply to, the student will pay a nonrefundable application fee, as well as submit a variety of required documents.
Required documents include electronic transcripts that are sent directly from the student’s previous school and proof of English proficiency for international students whose first language isn’t English. Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition for students at the City University of Seattle varies with the program a student chooses. Undergraduate courses from the 100 to 400 level are $400 per credit, Master of Education courses are $520 per credit, and MIT courses are also $520 per credit. Students enrolling in classes from the School of Arts and Sciences will pay between $390 and $695 per credit, and students enrolled in the School of Applied Leadership will pay between $541 and $742 per credit.
