As the sole representative of counselor education in North Dakota, North Dakota State University has a big responsibility on its hands. And yet it easily lives up to the challenge. In fact, the North Central Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (NACES) granted NDSU’s program an “Innovative Counselor Education” award in 2011 – just four years after it first earned CACREP accreditation. The university is also one of the few schools to offer its counseling master’s degree in both M.S. and M.Ed. forms, giving students maximum flexibility within the school and clinical mental health counseling tracks. And for students who have moved beyond the master’s degree requirements, a Ph.D. graduate counseling degree provides the individual attention and intensive research they need to attain the highest level of scholarship.
Tuition & Fees: $10,894

This concludes our ranking of the best graduate degree in counseling in North Dakota. We’ll be sure to update this list as more schools in North Dakota develop accredited counseling programs, so stay tuned!
